Solid Waste Management
This course aims to introduce to the participants the state of the art technology of handling and treatment of solid waste.
In addition, the course will describe the fundamental of solids waste treatment as well as introduce the organizational and
legislative developments, practices, financial burdens, and benefits of handling solid wastes.

Adoption of Building Information Modelling (BIM) in Construction in Qatar University
“This course enables participants to develop an understanding of the strategies for adoption of BIM in Qatar and gulf
region construction industry.
The course key topic area includes, introduction to current practices of BIM adoption in construction industry in Qatar,
integrated project delivery, opportunities in Qatar, employer information requirements, contractual arrangements and
potential for improvements to enable successful adoption, BIM execution strategy, and BIM execution plan.
