College of Pharmacy – Continuing Professional Pharmacy Development (CPPD)
TheCPPDProgramof QUCollege of Pharmacy has been accreditedby theSupremeCouncil of Health (SCH) in2013 as the first andonly
CPPD program in the country to deliver accredited continuing education activities to health care providers. It reflects the commitment of
the College to the continuing professional development of pharmacists and other allied healthworkers inQatar. The goal of the Program
is to support the lifelong learningof all practicingprofessionals to ensure optimal patient care. TheProgram achieves itsmandate, inpart,
through the provision of educational programs that will improve and expand the competency of pharmacy professionals, researchers,
scientists and allied professionals involved in pharmacy practice.
Continuing education courses/activities offered by the CPPD are:

• The TeamApproach inDiabetesManagement
• Pharmacoeconomics
• Self-Care in the Pharmacy
• Pediatrics
• Clinical Pharmacokinetics
